Psychiatric care on your schedule, not a waitlist's
From Over-the-Rhine to Mason and West Chester, finding a psychiatric appointment in greater Cincinnati usually means months of waiting. Every Recharge visit is by secure video, so you meet with a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner from home, often within days of booking.
We handle evaluation and medication management for ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use, for adults, teens, and kids ages 6 and up, plus dedicated programs for men's mental health and coping with illness and surgery.
A note for the tri-state area
Telehealth licensing follows where you are during the visit. If you are on the Ohio side, you are covered. On the Indiana side, in Lawrenceburg or Batesville, you are also covered, since we are licensed in Indiana. We are not currently licensed in Kentucky, so patients in Covington or Newport would need to be in Ohio or Indiana at the time of their appointment.
Insurance we take in Ohio
Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare and Optum plans, Medical Mutual of Ohio, Carelon, Medicare Advantage plans, and more. Self-pay is $225 for an initial evaluation and $150 for follow-ups. The fastest way to check your plan is to start booking and pick your insurance.
Common questions from Cincinnati patients
How fast can I be seen?
Many appointments are available within a few days, including some evenings.
Can you prescribe medication by video?
Yes. Evaluation and medication management are the core of what we do, with e-prescribing to your local pharmacy. Some medications have additional telehealth rules, which your provider will walk through with you.
Do you see kids and teens?
Yes, ages 6 and up when telehealth is appropriate, with a parent involved for minors.
What about emergencies?
We are not an emergency service. In a crisis, call or text 988 or call 911. Our crisis resources page lists free 24/7 lines.
